  • Uphold standards for human/animal research ethics approvals.

Decision Making

  • Base acceptance/rejection decisions on reviewer feedback and editorial judgment.

  • Communicate decisions clearly and constructively to authors.

  • Encourage revisions that strengthen clarity, rigor, and impact.

Production Oversight

  • Ensure accepted manuscripts are copyedited and proofread.

  • Approve final layouts before publication.

Communication & Transparency
