Importance of Fourier Series in Signal Analysis
This journal examines the importance of Fourier Series in the analysis of periodic signals within digital signal processing. Many real-world signals contain complex patterns that are difficult to interpret in the time domain, and Fourier Series provides a method to decompose these signals into sinusoidal components. This frequency-domain representation is crucial for identifying dominant frequencies, detecting distortions, and improving filtering and system analysis. Understanding these harmonic components is considered a key aspect of effective signal interpretation. The findings highlight that Fourier Series not only simplifies the study of periodic signals but also enhances the accuracy and efficiency of various signal processing techniques.
