Classification of Cervical Cancer Using Ultrasound Images

Cervical cancer is one of the most common malignant gynaecological tumours which cause a serious
threat to women health. Different medical imaging techniques are using to detect various cancers. Here proposed
the ultrasound images of uterus is pre-processed and to detect the cancer. In this method cancer can be
successfully identified and thereby help the doctors for analysing the size and exact location of cancer. The
presentβs development of ultrasound system is used for early detection of uterine cancer. The proposed
ultrasound system support different texture feature standardization, detection and classification. In classification,
the uterine cancer is divided into three stages. 1) Normal 2) Pre-cancer 3) Cancer after accounting for multiple
comparisons, texture features extracted from abnormal ROIs Compared to texture features extracted from
normal ROIs. The abnormal ROIs were characterized by intensity, abnormality, and detected ratio.
